And here’s one of those stories…

One of my staff walked into my office today to tell me about a strange situation. He was out front of the store power washing the sidewalk. A guy came up to him and told him that he tripped over the hose, dropped his phone and the screen cracked. Then he asked my employee for money to fix the screen. My guy said he would need to get his manager. The guy says ‘no don’t, cause then we would have to call the police and then go to court.’ HUH???

I watched back the video. There was no tripping, no phone dropping and no screen cracking. The guy had crossed the street and walked up on the sidewalk and straight to my employee to make his claim. Did he seriously think that the kid power washing the sidewalk was going to have cash to hand over to him? Weird!
