I can’t believe I’m doing this… again! 20 days from today I will be returning to Bermuda to work at KFC. I swear this time that I’m going to blog more often and memorialize the experience.

So much has happened in the last 2 years since I left. My lovely granddaughter was born. I’ve had the good fortune to be able to participate in her life and watch her learn and grow. This will honestly be the most difficult part of leaving Canada again.

So why am I leaving? Well, work wasn’t great. The actual job was OK but someone I worked for made it very difficult. I’m no longer willing to work in an environment like this so I’m moving on. My old boss at KFC has asked me a few times to return and he finally got me at the right time and I said yes.

I’ll be moving back to the same apartment with the same friend and returning to the same job… I feel like I can say I’m going home.
